Complete iRAP solution
STARS is accredited by iRAP, a worldwide organization dedicated to saving lives and preventing serious injuries on the world’s high-risk roads.
Our software was specially developed to carry out the iRAP methodology. It’s an integrated low-cost solution for acquire images in the field, extracting the pictures every 20 meters and coding the attributes that influence the safety of a road.
Assessment of more than 70 road attributes
STARS generates a file compatible with ViDA: the iRAP’s online software.
Through ViDA star ratings and Investment Plans for Safer Roads are generated based on data processing for more than 70 different attributes.
Among the attributes evaluated are the regulatory speed of the road, specification of the lane (single or double), existence of intersections, pedestrian crossing, shoulder, objects on the sides and many others.
